Post-Construction Cleaning
Rough, progress and final cleaning that gets a space to handover
Phased construction cleaning for new builds, tenant improvements and renovations - from debris and dust removal through to a punch-ready final detail.
Overview
Construction cleaning is a schedule problem as much as a cleaning problem. Drywall dust settles twice, trades come back through after you thought an area was finished, and the final detail has to land in the narrow window between punch list and handover.
We work in the three standard phases so cleaning tracks your build rather than fighting it, and we can hold areas as trades release them. Habibi’s has cleaned retail build-outs, tenant improvements and renovations for general contractors and developers nationwide.

How post-construction cleaning runs
- 01
Rough clean
Bulk debris out, surfaces cleared and swept so remaining trades can work. Scheduled once framing, drywall and rough-in are substantially complete.
- 02
Light / progress clean
Ongoing dust control and touch-up as finishes go in, keeping the site presentable for owner walks and holding finished areas as trades release them.
- 03
Final clean
Full detail for handover - glass, fixtures, floors, millwork and restrooms, plus label and adhesive removal, timed to your punch list and turnover date.

Post-Construction Cleaning questions
- What is the difference between a rough, light and final clean?
- A rough clean removes bulk debris and gets the site workable once the heavy trades are done. A light or progress clean keeps dust under control while finishes are installed. A final clean is the detailed handover clean - glass, fixtures, floors, millwork and labels - done as close to turnover as the schedule allows.
- Can you work around our trade schedule?
- Yes, and it is usually the right approach. We can clean areas in the sequence trades release them, and return for touch-up once follow-on work is complete. Give us the look-ahead schedule and we will phase around it.
- Do you handle both commercial and residential post-construction work?
- Both, though the majority of our construction cleaning is commercial - retail build-outs, tenant improvements and renovations. Residential post-construction work is available for builders and remodellers.
